The 5 Element Theory is a philosophy and framework for describing the relationship between the Elements, the human body and our life force, also referred to as “Chi’ or “Qi”. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), each Element corresponds to various aspects such as a season, organ, meridians, colour, emotion, existential reflection and and many other features. Most people are a combination of the Elements but have one which is more dominant.
