Vinyasa Flow Yoga

What is Vinyasa Flow?

A dance-like yoga practice linking body movement to breath.

Vinyasa Flow is a movement practice from one pose to the next seamlessly with the breath. The term Vinyasa is derived from nyasa, meaning “to place,” and vi, meaning “in a special way”, which means we are moving conscious awareness into each movement and moment.

Vinyasa Flow allows for one posture to flow to the next using the breath.

Vinyasa Flow is a more dynamic type of yoga where the breath initiates each movement. In Vinyasa Flow, the intention is to move with grace and connection integrating both breath and energy. The practice meets you where you are encouraging a flow state where we can find ease and effortlessness in mind, body and spirit.

Vinyasa Flow can help support mindfulness and enhance the mind-body-breath connection.
