What is YogaSOMATICS?
A contemporary blend of ancient yoga, modern somatics and energetics.
YogaSOMATICS is an experiential bodywork practice using sensing and deep listening to make inner contact with oneself and the energetic body. The practice offers spaces of containment and exploration through aware movements, breathing, relaxation, mindfulness, meditation and contact bodywork. It is a return to connect to one’s own bio energy, through slow and subtle movement in a first-person relational experience.
Regularly practicing YogaSOMATICS can supply holistic healing and health to rejuvenate and rest the body and mind.

Do I need previous experience to practice?
No, YogaSOMATICS is accessible for everyone and can be especially useful if you are new to yoga. If you have any injuries, illnesses or if you are pregnant, please contact me at livingroomyoga1@gmail.com to discuss before booking.
What do I need?
Having a yoga mat or blanket to lie on is helpful. As it is a slow and subtle practice, the body tends to get cool, so the suggestion is to wear layers.
What if I can’t relax?
Don’t worry. That is completely normal. Sometimes, it can take a couple of sessions to discover the magic of this quiet sensitive practice.
Are the online classes recorded?
Yes, I provide recordings with a 7-day playback.
